Hey mina-san, it's really good to write to you again. Ok, this time I will say something about what makes a good blog. In my opinion, a good blog should be like:
1 Includes the person's own experience of learning Japanese. Even though sometimes personal experience doesn't apply to all students. But it is still good to share with other people and also exchange ideas about learning Japanese.
2 Write about person's own opinion about certain events and give its readers a better image of the writer. Writing blogs is a good way of showing one's characteristics and thus, make more friends.
3 Leave comments on other people's blog (even though I seldom did that). I would usually be happy if I saw someone make comments on my blog. I think we may be able to treat Japanese blog as "facebook" once we wrote for each other. It'd be COOL...I think. ^^
4 You can "show off" by using new vocab in Japanese on your blogs. Because usually we would get points off from homework if we use too many new stuff on it. But on our blog we don't need to worry about that so that the blog can act as a place to try out new things.
5 You may also put pictures or video clips on your blogs and that would attract more people to read your blog. I can tell the most popular blog in our class should be Ensciso-san's blog, right? XD
Ok, basically that's all I have to say about how to make a good blog. And I am looking forward to your own opinion!

Feelings About JAPN101
Since I am the type of person who has the least motivation to do blogs, AGAIN, I am going to talk about something boring. (last time I talked about learning tips :[ ) Before I get started, I just wanna clarify that my purpose of writing is definitely NOT judging any person, but simply expressing my own feeling about the class itself!
Before I decided to take this class, I've asked quite a lot of friends who had taken it. My friends told me that it would be almost impossible to get an "A" for this class. What I heard surprised me a little bit although I had already knew that 101 classes are not easy at U.Va.
Until now, I came to understand why my friends said that. Because this is 101 so we have lots of stuff to do. What's more, our teacher, Satoo-sensee is a really responsible and helpful person even though sometimes she seems to be pretty strict. On the other hand, I think it's a good thing because I could always learn a LOT from her class as long as I'd done all the work required. My Japanese friends, including my Japanese tutor in China said that my Japanese had improved a lot since I took the class, which made me a little proud of myself. ^^
Also, another thing that I was originally worried about was the people I am taking with in this class. But now I felt so lucky that everyone in my class is so awesome and nice! And I really enjoy having every class with them so far! Even after class, sometimes we would have lunch together or do skit practice together. I have a strong feeling that after a semester/year we will be really good friends!
Just like what I've said, taking JAPN101 gives you a such a special and wonderful feeling because you are taking it with such a responsible teacher and such nice friends! These feelings can be my strongest reason to take the class and also my most wonderful experience to put into my mind.

Today I wanted to share how I have been learning Japanese. Everyone must have his/her own studying tips that work well for him/her. Similarly, the following tips introduced below works pretty well on me. As you know, a good learning tip/habit is essential to learning languages well.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
一 Review materials learned during the morning. As studies show, it is likely to be more efficient to learn languages in the morning.
二 Be sensitive to the pronunciations, and don't apply English pronunciation to Japanese ones when seeing the same Romanji. Because in most cases, the pronunciations are not the same!
三 Find a Japanese friend to talk with. Pay attention when your Japanese friend pronounce a word. (Here is a saying that getting a Japanese boy/girlfriend is better than taking Japanese 101...Satoo-sensee, Please don't be MAD! :-) )
四 Collect all the grammar/spelling/writing mistakes and review them before a test. It can prevent you making the same mistakes!
五 Watch as many Japanese dramas as you can! If you are not a drama fan, then listening to Japanese songs might also be a good choice.*
